2 Meals with 5 years in between

just had a lunch with a old fd, college times.

The last time we had a dinner was like 5 yrs ago when she was about to leave a study abroad,

And one of the sunny day 5 years later I'm sort of running into her in the middle of the street, just like I did to many other fds, I dunno why I always meet ppl this way.

So then comes the arrangement of this little lunch.

Honestly we're not so close, in the past, and now. ^^"
Still there is many things to talk about :P which is nice.

Most of the things are about the past, the college times, and there're less than 5 ppl in the world we both know, which makes the topic incredibly narrow. So its kinda embarrassing sometimes, but overall it feels good.

We both didn't change, the way we look, and the way we talk.
After the lunch I started to think about the good things about the college times, the good things about honest people.

How many friends you are still keeping contact with?
I wish I can have more, but we only have 24 hours a day, and a lunch each day only :P

福 建 省 南 平 市 中 級 法 院 在 今 年 九 月 中 旬 ， 開 始 審 理 黃 金 高 案 。 新 華 網 報 道 ， 該 院 昨日 作 出 一 審 判 決 ， 黃 金 高 被 判 無 期 徒 刑 ， 剝 奪 政 治 權 利 終 身 ， 並 處 沒 收 個 人 全 部 財產 。 法 院 另 將 追 繳 被 告 受 賄 、 貪 污 犯 罪 及 違 法 所 得 上 繳 國 庫 。

Relief

So the relief programs of the 2nd day ends.
We all fully realize what is happening, and is certainly trying our very best to repair the crack.
But a crack is a crack. Its not that easy, and we all know that.
I hope tmr we will hear good news, but anyway, we will try our best to do the relief programs.


I thought we all learn from it, everyone of us.
When ppl are in trouble, they will know how important their fds, their daily social connection is to themselves.
When they try to solve the problem, they will know their own weaknesses.

And as a friend, they will also learn how to take care of their friends.
Realising what they usually ignore -- their friends feeling, when they are magnified in stormy weather.


I thought we all learn from it, everyone of us.

Long time ago, when I first of this six degree of separation and friendster, I dun quite believe it at all.

The rules states that in any big enough city, your "distance" with any other person is no more than 6 layers, that means anyone in the city is at most your friend's friend's friend's friend's friend's friend :P

I found it very theroetical :P not quite practical

until I heard from my friends recently that the new Mr. Hong Kong is her friends' brother, and then another friend told me the song I was always playing in my iPod (see last post ^^") was once her classmate.

Batman Begins

Just Watched it.

This batman is more like human than any of the ones in the previous movies.

The leading actress sucks.

The script is good but there are too much to say in a movie,
making ppl feel a bit dizzy sometimes
when the actions is coming and going too fast.

The movie lacks a bit as the bad guys didn't stand out as much as the series usually do.

I like Mr. and Mrs. Smith more.
the speed of the movie is better,
and the mood is not so serious.

The impression maybe cos Angelina Jolie is so much better than Katie Holmes
in terms of acting, and everything else :P

well, not quite happy today.

Was told the day before that mum and dad were going out today, and was expecting to have dinner with... well somebody at least.

End up eating myself.

In fact I'm quite used to actually, eating myself I mean.
I enjoy time alone, silently, doing my things, and thinks about everything.

but I was unhappy today.

Not becuase needing to be alone, it was because I was actually expecting somebody to show up and say "Oh well, let's have dinner then". That never materialise of course.

I have seen some ppl making the most of it when this happened to them, yelling at others, pissing off like a bull seeing a red flag in front of them.

This is not the way for me, you know me :P
That doesen't solve the problem.

But then how can it be solved?

Know yourself. Really, really, know yourself.

How much difficulty have you encountered in life? Trouble shows us what we're made of - usually not much in most cases! I'm not implying that we don't persevere. But when pushed, we squeal, right? In difficult circumstances, we become frustrated and react. We retaliate or withdraw. We piss and moan until the trouble passes. Realize that we're all weak inside.

No matter what a person has done to you or your loved ones, demonizing their actions won't help you lead or influence them. Your tone of voice will communicate your disgust - and then you'll end up investing the bare minimum in them. And you'll get back exactly what bare minimum deserves - nothing. So don't be so quick to judge. Who knows what their circumstances are? Maybe they're just being squashed in life and they're squealing - just like you or I or anyone would.

默 哀 而 已

一 場 默 哀 風 波 ， 把 特 區 立 法 會搞 得 雞 飛 狗 跳 。 先 是 立 法 會 主 席 范 太 設 下 默 哀 門 檻 ， 說 對 香 港 的 「 貢 獻 」 沒 有 達 到鄧 小 平 這 樣 高 度 的 人 ， 立 法 會 不 能 為 他 們 默 哀 ； 民 主 派 逕 自 默 哀 後 ， 又 導 致 保 皇 派杯 葛 開 會 ， 導 致 流 會 ； 然 後 有 人 指 流 會 是 浪 費 公 帑 ， 保 皇 派 又 紛 紛 解 釋 ； 北 京 決 定為 趙 舉 行 遺 體 告 別 式 之 後 ， 又 有 議 員 對 流 會 道 歉 ； 范 太 約 見 各 黨 派 ， 其 後 又 提 出 若有 議 員 不 同 意 她 的 裁 決 ， 可 提 對 她 的 不 信 任 動 議 … … 。 此 外 ， 董 伯 出 席 為 施 政 報 告而 作 的 沙 田 地 區 諮 詢 會 時 ， 有 職 工 盟 區 議 員 站 立 建 議 為 趙 紫 陽 默 哀 一 分 鐘 ， 董 伯 沒有 回 應 ， 親 政 府 人 士 更 報 以 噓 聲 。
搞 甚 麼 ！ 默 哀 而 已 ， 一 分 鐘 吧 了 ， 竟 搞 出 這 麼 多 事 端 ！ 默 哀 只 是 對 一 位 去 世 的 人 表 示 哀 思 ， 並 不 涉 及 對 去 世 的 人 的 蓋 棺 論 定 的 評 價 ， 也 不 是 意 味 去 世 的 人 就 是 一 個 完 美 無 缺 的 人 。 立 法 會 若 為 羅 文 、 為 梅 艷 芳 、 為 黃 霑 去 世 而 默 哀 ， 大 家 一 定 不 會 有 異 議 ， 不 會 鬧 出 這 麼 多 無 聊 的 事 。



美 國 九 一 一 以 後 ， 許 多 場 合 都 有 默 哀 ， 並 不 意 味 去 世 的 人 都 是 偉 人 ， 而 只 因 為 他 們 是 無 辜 的 人 。 西 班 牙 火 車 爆 炸 案 之 後 ， 足 球 賽 前也 有 默 哀 活 動 。 今 年 元 旦 到 來 前 ， 全 球 各 地 都 有 領 袖 帶 領 民 眾 為 南 亞 海 嘯 死 難 者 默哀 。 筆 者 相 信 ， 即 使 立 法 會 有 議 員 建 議 為 南 亞 海 嘯 死 難 者 默 哀 ， 也 不 會 有 人 提 出 異議 。 十 多 萬 的 死 難 者 ， 當 然 不 會 都 是 了 不 起 的 高 人 ， 更 不 會 是 對 香 港 「 有 重 大 貢 獻的 政 治 家 」 。
上 星 期 五 ， 中 國 「 四 大 護 法 」 之 一 的 蕭 蔚 雲 在 澳 門 心 臟 病 突 發 病 逝 。 蕭 蔚 雲 在 去 年 封 殺 香 港 雙 普 選 時 充 當 打 手 ， 嘴 角 留 白 沫 教 訓 香 港 人 的 兇 巴 巴 的 形 象 ， 給 香 港 人 印 象 深 刻 。 但 民 主 黨 前 主 席 李 柱 銘 說 ：「 蕭 教 授 也 有 出 版 與 《 基 本 法 》 有 關 的 著 作 ， 這 些 著 作 即 使 在 法 庭 打 官 司 都 有 用 ，所 以 他 是 有 貢 獻 的 。 」 因 此 ， 若 立 法 會 有 人 要 為 他 默 哀 一 分 鐘 ， 相 信 民 主 派 議 員 也不 會 因 為 他 曾 為 中 央 充 當 過 打 手 而 予 以 杯 葛 。 然 而 不 幸 的 是 ， 他 死 在 趙 紫 陽 之 後 ，而 立 法 會 主 席 范 太 已 說 過 ， 即 使 簽 署 《 中 英 聯 合 聲 明 》 的 趙 紫 陽 也 達 不 到 讓 立 法 會默 哀 的 門 檻 ， 於 是 范 太 說 ： 「 按 我 們 的 尺 度 標 準 ， 不 好 意 思 ， 蕭 蔚 雲 先 生 是 我 很 尊重 的 一 個 人 ， 很 敬 重 的 一 個 人 ， 但 他 不 符 合 門 檻 。 」
只 因 不 想 為 趙 紫 陽 默 哀 ， 其 實 是 只 因 陳 佐 洱 兇 巴 巴 地 警 告 香 港 立 法 會 不 要 藉此 「 生 事 」 ， 於 是 范 太 就 否 決 了 一 分 鐘 默 哀 ， 還 不 願 承 認 是 「 政 治 考 慮 」 ， 硬 生 生設 置 一 個 鄧 小 平 的 門 檻 ， 以 致 立 法 會 日 後 不 能 為 蕭 蔚 雲 默 哀 ， 不 能 為 貢 獻 低 於 鄧 小平 的 人 默 哀 ， 實 際 上 就 是 不 能 為 任 何 人 默 哀 。 世 界 各 地 的 議 會 都 常 會 為 一 些 人 默 哀， 惟 有 香 港 立 法 會 因 趙 紫 陽 之 事 而 從 今 以 後 不 可 以 有 默 哀 活 動 ， 這 不 是 太 荒 謬 了 嗎？
默 哀 而 已 ， 只 不 過 是 對 死 者 表 達 一 點 點 的 哀 思 ， 實 際 上 也 是 人 性 的 一 種 表 現 ， 怎 麼 就 會 鬧 出 這 樣 不 近 人 情 的 、 無 理 的 、 無 人 性 的 結 局 ？
中 央 對 趙 的 評 價 ， 仍 在 與 元 老 、 與 趙 的 家 人 、 與 已 退 下 來 的 前 當 權 派 江 澤 民 、李 鵬 等 等 協 調 之 中 ， 中 央 的 風 向 尚 未 定 。 醜 陋 的 香 港 政 客 要 跟 風 ， 實 在 是 不 知 該 擺向 哪 個 方 向 才 對 。 所 以 ， 最 好 不 要 做 迎 風 倒 的 牆 頭 草 ， 本 良 心 做 人 ， 才 是 正 道 。

一月一號去左個party 玩
咁見到一班朋友仔, 就一齊玩uno 啦
玩玩下我就提議玩 兩個人一組 喎

我對面係 "過兒"
"姑姑" 對面就係沈沈啦 :p 咁好順利成章就係咁樣team 起上來

第一鋪....
"過兒" 出 +4 罰左 Eddie 喎 (另外一組)
我見無人出, 咁我咪 "cut" 一張 +4 出去囉
咁就罰左 "姑姑" 12 張

大家見狀都很興奮, 畢竟大家都係希望其他team 俾人罰
呢個時候我就當然係同 "過兒" 慶祝啦

"give me five!" 我說
豈料 "過兒" 不但無興奮之情,
反而做了一個很驚訝的表情

他不相信自己的隊友會把 "姑姑" "打至重傷"!
結果只有我在慶祝 woo~~~~

此事說明"姑姑" 與 "過兒" 的感情深厚得非分隊就能分開!!

但值得高與之餘, 希望 "過兒" 與"姑姑" 玩遊戲可以投入一d ^.^
